In the year 1994, acknowledges the presence of the Taliban, when they were appointed by Islamabad to protect a convoy trying to open a trade route between Pakistan and Central Asia.
Initially, only the Taliban fighters based in Kandahar. However, along with their acceptance by society of Afghanistan, they had penetrated to the capital, Kabul, precisely in September 1996.
